The free English Component is one of the best avenues for attracting students, enabling us to achieve our main goal of being witnesses in Christ. In this component, we also strive to equip children with basic English and computational skills (when computer access is available). Similar to the Religious Studies Component, we have volunteers with various teaching styles and professions, hailing from different cultures and possessing different passions to share academically within our bilingual format. This exposure introduces the students of this remote rural community to a variety of life interests and opportunities they would not have otherwise encountered. Check out the videos and photos below to see examples, such as a unique opportunity we had in 2018 when a semi-professional kickboxer with a master’s degree in nutrition made a 10-week commitment.
