Our volunteer's comfort comes second only to our commitment to the children we serve in our community.
Although we have a variety of housing options that range from private hotels to rustic living in a Maloca, most volunteers prefer living with a group at the Eco-Farm Recreo or with a local family in a homestay. Here are some photos of several of our most popular locations and a peek at what your meal plan can include. We strongly encourage volunteers to choose the all-inclusive group living and three-meals-a-day plan so that you can become more culturally immersed as well as spend your time here without financial concerns or unknown expenses.
Our volunteers’ comfort comes second only to our commitment to the children we serve in our community. We have found that a well-fed and comfortably housed volunteer makes a team member who is more effective at serving the children of The Blue Lagoon.
When you contact us, we can get more specific about your preferences and the availability we will have for the particular duration and time period you might be considering for your volunteer commitment.
