As mentioned on the Local Attractions Page, there are unlimited activities and sights to see locally, making your entire program costs all-inclusive. However, many volunteers prefer to venture out during their volunteer commitment. This is one of the reasons for our 4-day work week. By boat or bus, this gives volunteers the opportunity to take several consecutive days off to explore other areas of the vast Amazon Jungle. Additionally, volunteers often venture out to places like Machu Picchu and other districts of Peru and beyond, such as Ecuador or Brazil, by airplane.
